AviGlobe Epoxy Floor Coating provides a smooth yet slip-resistant surface. However, depending on the application and conditions, this may not always provide sufficient slip resistance for people or animals.
For floor areas where additional grip is required, particularly in working areas or environments where fats, oils or other slippery substances may be present, we recommend broadcasting AviGlobe Fine Anti-Slip Aggregate onto the freshly applied coating.
AviGlobe Fine Anti-Slip Aggregate consists of extremely hard granules that are broadcast evenly over the surface immediately after applying AviGlobe Epoxy Floor Coating, while the coating is still wet.
For applications requiring a more pronounced anti-slip texture, AviGlobe Coarse Anti-Slip Aggregate is also available.

AviGlobe Epoxy Floor Coating – Anti-Slip Options
AviGlobe Epoxy Floor Coating provides a smooth yet slip-resistant surface. Depending on the application and expected load, additional slip resistance may be required.
For this purpose, AviGlobe offers two anti-slip aggregates: FINE and COARSE. Both are broadcast evenly onto the freshly applied epoxy coating while it is still wet.
Which Anti-Slip Aggregate Should I Choose?
AviGlobe Anti-Slip Aggregate FINE
Recommended for professional environments where additional grip is required while maintaining a relatively fine and easy-to-clean surface.
Ideal for:
- Indoor aviaries and bird rooms
- Professional bird breeding facilities
- Quarantine and isolation areas
- Avian clinics and veterinary practices
- Feed preparation rooms
- Work areas and walkways
- Areas used by staff and smaller animals
- Floors that are frequently cleaned
AviGlobe Anti-Slip Aggregate COARSE
Recommended for more demanding environments where higher mechanical loads and increased slip resistance are required.
Ideal for:
- Zoos and zoological facilities
- Large animal enclosures
- Heavy-duty animal housing
- Large outdoor or indoor aviaries
- Service and technical areas
- High-traffic areas
- Wet areas and environments exposed to intensive cleaning
- Floors subject to heavier mechanical loads
Application
Broadcast the selected FINE or COARSE Anti-Slip Aggregate evenly onto the AviGlobe Epoxy Floor Coating immediately after application, while the coating is still wet.
If desired, an additional layer of AviGlobe Epoxy Floor Coating can be applied after curing to further encapsulate the aggregate and create a more uniform, easy-to-clean finish.
